Expression of Interest are invited for The World Bank and the Government of Angola are analyzing the Angolan WASH Sector to inform policies and practices to improve the quality of WASH services.
The World Bank and the Government of Angola are analyzing the Angolan WASH Sector to inform policies and practices to improve the quality of WASH services.
The assignment objective is to assess current sanitation services in different parts of Luanda and in two other Angolan cities. The assessments should use household surveys, field visits and key informant interviews to review the full sanitation service chain, from containment through safe disposal, for household service coverage, public sanitation facilities, and hygiene/handwashing facilities. The assessments should document technical, financial, and stakeholder aspects as well as information on related urban services (e.g., water supply, drainage).
The required outputs, for each city, are:
1. Fecal Sludge Flow Diagrams (SFDs);
2. Maps of sanitation service coverage levels;
3. Map(s) of relevant stakeholders; and
4. A written report with a description of the financial flows and other relevant information on existing service coverage.
Qualification Criteria
· 1. Provide information showing that they are qualified in the field of the assignment.
· 2. Provide information on the technical and managerial capabilities of the firm.
· 3. Provide information on their core business and years in business.
· 4. Provide information on the qualifications of key staff.
