Tenders are invited for Acquisition of Pedagogical / Scientific Equipment (Technical Equipment, Laboratory Equipment, Office Supplies, Technical Supplies, Furniture, Computer Equipment, Software, Office Equipment ) for the Profit of ESA / INP-HB.
In the context of the aforementioned Call for Tender, UCP C2D - EF received requests for clarifications from the candidates. In accordance with Clause 7.1 of the Instructions to Applicants which requires the Contracting Authority to respond in writing no later than ten (10) working days prior to the deadline for submission of tenders to any request for clarification received no later than fourteen ( 14) working days before the deadline for the submission of tenders, by sending a copy of its answer (indicating the question asked but without mention of origin) to all the potential candidates who will have obtained the Tender Documents, I kindly ask you to find in the table below, the questions asked as well as the answers given by the UCP C2D - EF.

1 Differential scanning calorimeter Under lot 2.2: Differential scanning calorimeter: The requested Polyma can not be coupled with 120 thermocouples. We propose Setaram which can be combined with 120 Thermocouples but think that a calorimeter with a single thermocouple would be sufficient for the different applications. 6 Scanning Electron Microscope Under Lot 2.6: The requested Scanning Electron Microscope brings us back to the Hitachi manufacturer who does not respond directly and works with a South African distributor who can not guarantee us an after-sales service. Since such equipment requires a large investment both in terms of purchase and after sales service, I recommend that we go to Jeol which is at the same level of the range as the Hitachi but with a good magnification. Advantage: local after-sales service.

3- The total amount of sub-lots added with a detail of the amounts of these sub-lots?

The third proposal will make more sense to me, but considering that this tender a little particular by its composition, I would like to have more details The amount which must appear on the letter of submission is the total amount of the batch for which you bidding. If you submit for entire x-lot you must provide a bid letter with specific amounts per entire lot.

8 Equipment FIBERTEC 8000 At Lot 5 all equipment is similar to the laboratory, except that it missed the Fibertec 8000 which is found in sub-lot 3.1. with all these accessories in lot 5 which interests us.

This lot 3 Includes 99% of the industrial machinery or semi dedicated to the agronomy sector.

That said, whoever will treat this lot will be as confused as for this article; especially since the fibertec 8000 from Foss is only offered by a Ghanaian distributor based in Ghana who does not provide after-sales service on the Ivory Coast and almost does not respond to price requests.

Problem: We will not be able to process lot 5 if this item does not appear, for the simple reason that delivered differently, you may have products that will not be compatible. The Fibertec must imperatively be grouped with its accessories.
