“Wood Vision Lab” project - the technical center: “milling robot”
The use of an industrial robot with an additional linear axis should enable a high level of flexibility in terms of workpiece size, geometry and machining strategy. The milling robot should be particularly suitable for large-format workpieces up to a length of approx. 6 m and a width of up to 1.5 m. The focus is on processing complex geometries, investigating new manufacturing processes and researching digital process chains.
