this request is to replace wjb dorn s community living centers (clc) outdoor furniture with a product that is more conducive to the aging population that typically is visiting, staying, or living at one of our clc s.
Landscape forms, inc s wellspring and gretchen products were selected for their design and type of wood their products are made from, unfinished teak and jarrah.
Subtle design features make it easy to sit, settle, reach and rise; designed to address the special needs of the retired and active, aging, and assisted, ailing and recovering. The collections are made of teak wood and jarrah wood which is made to weather beautifully and unfinished requires zero maintenance. It is robust, durable commercial furniture.
The benches are available in 19 seat height which allows easier transfer of a person from a wheelchair and is ada compliant. The seat portion of the bench tapers towards the back and the back portion of the bench is curved to give the bench greater ergonomic support.
The back of the bench and the arms are designed to be taller and longer for greater stability and comfort.
All the furniture can be surface mounted.
Metal is finished with landscape forms proprietary pangard iia(r) polyester powder coat, a hard yet flexible finish that resists rusting, chipping, peeling and fading.
