Description : Tafe Gippsland Are Seeking Expressions Of Interest From Specialist Web App Developers In The Gippsland Region.The Purpose Of The Engagement Is To Develop A Web App That Will Allow Prospective Secondary School Students And Their Influencers To Search Learning Pathways At Tafe Gippsland Based On Their Interests Or Skills. The App Will Allow Students To Better Understand The Learning Options Available To Them At Tafe Gippsland.Tafe Gippsland Is Continuously Seeking To Deepen It'S Engagement Within The Gippsland Community And Engaging With Secondary Schools Is A Key Area Of Focus In That Engagement Strategy.Our Research Indicates That A High Volume Of Secondary School Leavers Are Not Undertaking Higher Education Or Vocational Training And Are Employed In Low Skilled Jobs. As A Part Of Our Engagement We Aim To Increase The Participation Of Secondary School Leavers With Tafe Learning And Tafe Pathways Into University.Tafe Gippsland Have Created A Prototype Of A Web App That We Believe Will Increase The Engagement Of Secondary School Students With Tafe Gippsland And Subsequently Lead To A Higher Number Of Secondary School Leavers Undertaking Tafe Learning.
