Utilization of geothermal energy development 2. The municipality of Mezőcsát wants to ensure the heating of the town's public institutions with geothermal energy. For this, they would use MEZŐCSÁ - 1, a barren hydrocarbon researcher on the border of the settlement drilling. As part of the project, in the northern border of the settlement, approx. We are planning to convert a 600 m distant hydrocarbon research borehole drilled and closed in the 1990s into a thermal well. A yield of ~700 [liters/minute] is forecast at ~57 °C we want to connect the thermal water heat source to the heat center in the thermal bath to a newly developed district heating system, which will partially replace the current use of natural gas for heating purposes in the 13 municipal properties.
