The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking interested vendors with successful past performance, current relevant experience, personnel/resources, equipment, and capability to provide shipbreaking services to dispose of a 210- Medium Endurance Cutter located in Curtis Creek/Baltimore, MD (21226) that have been deemed excess by the USCG.
Please respond to the following questions:
(1) Is your firm a large or small business?
(2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emergent business, or a small, disadvantaged business?
(3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and is your firm certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act?
(4) Is your firm a certified "Hub Zone" firm?
(5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business?
(6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned?
(7) Are your services listed on a GSA schedule? If so, which one(s)?
(8) Do you own or have access to facilities along the East Coast of the Continental United States or near vicinity capable of scrapping a 210- Medium Endurance Cutter and if so, have you scrapped vessels in past? If so, were the vessels from other government agencies, commercial customers or both? For government agencies, provide agency name, POCs and contract number. For all vessels, provide descriptions (displacement, length, hull materials, etc.).
(9) If you do not own or have access to a facility with the capability to scrap 210- Medium Endurance Cutter at a facility along the East Coast of the Continental United States, where is it located and how do you intend on getting the vessel to your facility?
