Nature of activities, geographical area and project duration

(a) Short description (5 lines) of planned objectives:

The Twinning aims to support the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics in developing a high-impact big data strategy. By adopting big data methodologies, the Central Bureau of Statistics will improve the accuracy and granularity of statistical data, thus providing policy makers with up-to-date information to respond to emerging challenges while ensuring the protection of privacy and confidentiality.

(b) Geographical area:

Israel - In line with the generally established EU policy regarding Israel, the activities implemented within this Twinning project should exclusively take place in the pre-1967 territory of Israel.

(c) Maximum project duration:

24 months.
Deadline for submission of Twinning proposals by the National Contact Points to the Contracting Authority: Thursday 18 July 2024 at 13:00 Israel time.
