Scope of Work/Description : TRAILER MOUNTED LARGE FLOW MONITOR A TRAILER MOUNTED HIGH VOLUME MONITOR SHALL BE PROVIDED. THE MONITOR SHALL BE CAPABLE OF FLOWING A MINIMUM OF 38, 000 LITRES PER MINUTE(10, 000 US GPM) AT A NOMINAL PRESSURE OF 7 BAR (115PSI) TO ENABLE AN EFFECTIVE FIREFIGHTING RESPONSE TO ENABLE CONTROL OF LARGE TANK FIRES. THE MONITOR TO HAVE ADJUSTABLE JET / SPRAY PATTERN. THE MONITOR SHALL BE SOLD AND SERVICED THROUGH AN INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF INDEPENDENT DISTRIBUTORS. THE MONITOR SHALL COME COMPLETE WITH ALL NECESSARY ACCESSORIES TO ENABLE A FOAM AND WATER ATTACK I.E. MONITOR, SUFFICIENT JET RATIO CONTROLLERS FOR RATED MAXIMUM FLOW AND ANY SUCTION HOSES, MANIFOLDS ETC. REFERENCES UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES, INC., (UL) STANDARD 162: (FOAM EQUIPMENT AND LIQUID CONCENTRATES). QP-SPC-L-002 REV 1 (COATING SCHEDULE 1) FOR PAINTING OF TRAILER AND SKIDS BS 336 - BRITISH STANDARD FOR FIRE SERVICE COUPLINGS ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF QATAR.
