Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Town Electrification Investment Program-Tranche 2.
The Independent State of Papua New Guinea has received a loan from the "Asian

Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Town Electrification Investment Program -

Tranche 2 (TEIP). Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above.

Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

2. PNG Power Limited ("the Employer") invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the

design, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of a complete hydro power

plant ("the Facilities").

The works will consist of the engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning

of a run-of-river type hydropower facility located in Buka, Autonomous Region of Bougainville, in

Papua New Guinea. The project has an installed capacity of 3 MW with a design discharge of

5.0 m3

/s and a gross head of 65 m with two sets of turbine generator units and all equipment

necessary to generate and transmit the electricity.
