Description Information : Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals ("eRFP") is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Tobacco Products Tax Stamps to the Georgia Department of Revenue (hereinafter, "the State Entity") as further described in this eRFP.
The purpose of this document is to provide potential suppliers with information to prepare and submit a proposal for the printing of Georgia tobacco tax stamps for the Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR). The tax stamp will be procured at a competitive price and will utilize both covert, semi-covert, and overt protective security features in order to protect Georgia cigarette tax revenues. These features must help inhibit illegal reproduction and removal once applied, and enable distributors, enforcement officials, state auditors, retailers, and consumers to easily recognize the stamp as a legal Georgia tobacco tax stamp.
