The University will evaluate the offeror-s proposal to confirm ability to design, manufacture, and deliver a custom biaxial thermomechanical stage Compatible with SAXS/WAXS Beamlines meeting all specified parameters, including:
Temperature range: RT to 250°C
Sample thermal area: 200 × 200 mm
Motorized movement range: 0 - 200 mm
Minimum sample size: 10 mm × 10 mm
Gas-purge capability up to 0.5 Bar
2-axis tensile tension via stepper motors with 20N or 200N force sensors
±60° optical access from one side of sample
Slotted transmission aperture and underside window
Kapton windows
Convection heating
Vertical stage mounting
The University will evaluate the offeror-s demonstrated ability to produce a stage meeting all physical and performance specifications.
EPICS Software Integration.
The University will evaluate the offeror's ability to provide EPICS software integration for both tensile and temperature control, compatible with customer instrumentation at SLAC/Stanford University. Offeror must demonstrate prior experience or a credible plan for integration with EPICS-based control systems.
