The project concerns the work to bring the Berchem railway station into compliance with the technical specificities of interoperability (TSI) of the conventional trans-European rail system, which essentially includes the work following:- Reconstruction of passenger platforms;- Construction of a double underground tunnel with its access structures;- Construction of new shelters and technical premises;- Creation of foundations for noise barriers;- Development of P&R car parks and forecourts ;- Development and sanitation of the railway platform;- Railway track works. The main phase (period of complete blockage of the railway line) of the work takes place from Friday 07.15.2027 until Monday 08.23.2027 (4:00 a.m.) Compliance of Berchem station.
