The Bank of Ceylon requires office space for occupation in the Colombo 1-15 area to establish a new branch on a rental basis. The proposed building must be legally constructed and suitable for banking business, with a minimum floor area of 1, 500 sq.ft. It should have a minimum main road frontage of 30 feet, be within town limits, and include a generator room of 100 sq.ft. at the rear. The building must provide parking for at least 4 vehicles, have necessary facilities such as telephone, 3-phase 60 AMP electricity, and a water tank with a minimum capacity of 1000 liters. At least 3 washrooms (separate for male and female) are required, with one located at the rear. The building should have tiled floors, a sheltered roof or slab, secure rear doors and windows, and fire insurance. Interested parties must submit the building plan, survey plan, title certificate, certificate of conformity, and expected monthly rental within 14 days.
