Description: BACKGROUNDThe mSupply software is a Logistics Management Information System (LMIS) that allows real time reporting of end user consumption data that can improve quantification and forecasting of drugs and other health commodities. Since its endorsement in 2013 by the National Department of Health as the country-s LMIS, the system has been rolled out to various national facilities, regional and provincial medical stores, health facilities, provincial disease control offices, TB Basic Management Units, ART clinics and vaccine stores. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the COVID-19 mSupply Module was introduced to support the pandemic response through more effective monitoring, reporting and coordination of essential lifesaving commodities.
