Description : BACKGROUND

Tuvalu endorsed the Health Reform Strategy 2016 2019 which is aligned with the Te Kakeega III, the National Sustainable Development Plan 2016-2020, that envisions the key objectives to achieve sustainable development goals in the time period. Aligning with health-related goals proposed, the Health Reform Strategy addresses health issues and health indicators to track progress and the impact of health programmes over the 2016-2019 period. It also identifies the MoH`s vision, mission, goals, guiding principles and strategic objectives that guides the Ministry in implementing the plans.
