Prior Information Notice for Supply of Water Monitoring Equipment.

6. Description of the contract
The purpose of this Contract is to enable Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and other beneficiaries to prepare the ground for implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive and all water related directives through provision of equipment for water quality and quantity monitoring.

Lot 3: Groundwater monitoring equipment
Lot 4: Hydrological station monitoring network
Lot 5: GIS Hardware and operating system

Lot 7: Water Quality Monitoring Equipment for Biological Monitoring - phytoplankton monitoring
11. Tender guarantee
• Tenderers must provide a tender guarantee for:
Lot 1 in the amount of 2, 200 Euros;
Lot 2 - not applicable;
Lot 3 in the amount of 2, 800 Euros;
Lot 4 in the amount of 2, 000 Euros;
Lot 5 - not applicable;
Lot 6 in the amount of 1, 200 Euros;
Lot 7 - not applicable.
Performance guarantee
The successful tenderer will be asked to provide a performance guarantee of 10 % of the amount of the contract at the signing of the contract. This guarantee must be provided together with the return of the countersigned contract no later than 30 days after the tenderer receives the contract signed by the Contracting Authority. If the selected tenderer fails to provide such a guarantee within this period, the contract will be void and a new contract may be drawn up and sent to the tenderer which has submitted the next cheapest compliant tender.
