Description : This is a call to competition by Iarnród Éireann (IE) for the procurement of the Supply of the Remote Monitoring of Railway Assets Communications Platform.
The various general requirements of the monitoring communication system are as follows:
— the system shall be accessible by IÉ personnel (and any third parties to whom IÉ wish to share the system) via a web platform (accessible through standard web-browsers) with a secure password-protected login. The web platform should also be accessible by a mobile smartphones,
— the communications system shall have ‘cloud-based- storage.
The system will initially be required to store and process information for up to 3 200 sensor channels at up to 312 sites communicating in near real-time and should have sufficient capacity to increase the storage/processing capabilities for up to 10 000 sensor channels.
