Abstract: The University of South Wales (USW) is a partner in a research and development project related to the production of low carbon end products from low value raw materials using a biorefinery approach. The project (Beacon, Project Ref. C80851) is funded by the Wales European Funding Office (WEFO) utilizing European Regional Development Funds (ERDF), and is led by Aberystwyth University.The University of South Wales wishes to procure an automated potentiometric pH titrator capable of supporting the titration modes as stated below, with an emphasis on the STAT mode for determining enzymatic activity (iv):i. DET (dynamic equivalence point titration)ii. MET (monotonic equivalence point titration)iii. SET (titration to one or two specified endpoints)iv. STAT (enzymatic and pH-STAT titrations)A specification for the required instrument is attached.
