SCOPE OF BID:

The supply of mechanical and electrical equipment and completion of builder`s works related to the installation and commissioning of the equipment at the Innswood Pumping Station located in St. Catherine. The mechanical & electrical equipment includes: (2) vertical turbine pumping units, equipped with vertical hollow shaft motors (2) variable speed drives motor control centres, (2) sand media filtration systems, and (2) pump discharge manifold assemblies.

The National Irrigation Commission Ltd. will complete the necessary works required to facilitate the above installation to include construction of a sump, electrical equipment room, energizing the facility and fencing the site.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Bidders must be registered with the Public Procurement Commission (formerly NCC) under the following classification: Goods & Services Contractors in one of the (3) listed categories:
Industrial, Construction Equipment, Machinery Parts & Supplies
Electrical Equipment, Parts & Supplies
General Supplies; specializing in Irrigation Equipment

Provide Bid Security in the amount of J$100, 000.00

SUBMISSION & OPENING OF BIDS

Bidders shall submit their bids in sealed envelopes and deposited in the Tender Box located in the Administration Building at the National Irrigation Commission Ltd.`s head office, at 191 Old Hope Road on or before Wednesday December 18, 2019 at 10:00 am.

The public Bid Opening shall take place at the above-mentioned location on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 10:15 am.
