Tender Details

1. The Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (OSESGY) maintains office and guesthouse premises in Aden that require a reliable, continuous power supply given the unstable condition of the public electricity grid in Yemen. To ensure uninterrupted operations, OSESGY intends to procure, install, test and commission two (2) new soundproof diesel generator sets (Caterpillar or Equivalent) as backup power sources for its Aden Office and Aden Guesthouse.2. The objective of this requirement is to engage a qualified and experienced supplier/contractor to supply brand-new 100kVA, factory-built soundproof diesel generators, and to deliver, install, test and commission them at the specified locations in Aden, Yemen, ensuring reliable backup power, compliance with applicable international standards, and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.3. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. OSESGY reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to an EOI does not automatically guarantee that such company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
