Invitation to a supplier conference on the Norwegian Armed Forces' digital transformation in Fanehallen on 5 October 2026 The Norwegian Armed Forces and Defense Materiel invite suppliers, research and educational institutions and other relevant actors to a supplier conference on 5 October at 09.00-12.00 in the Fanehallen at Akershus fortress. The armed forces are facing a historic investment in digitization and technological modernisation. The aim is to strengthen the Armed Forces' operational capability through a modern digital foundation, increased utilization of data and artificial intelligence, stronger interaction across the defense branches and better decision-making support in all domains. In the coming years, significant investment will be made, among other things, in the modernization of the Armed Forces' secure platforms, development of the digital work surface of the future, modernization of mission-critical common solutions (ERP), establishment and modernization of data center, network and communication capacities, strengthened cyber security, utilization of artificial intelligence as well as the establishment of modern platform and cloud services.
