Tenders are invited for Supervision of Works Contract for Establishment of Integrated and Self Sustainable Waste Management System in East and North-East Regions.
7. Contract description

The purpose of this contract is to provide supervision services for the Works Contract for Establishment of Integrated and Financially Sustainable Regional Waste Management System in East and North-East Regions which will be implemented according to the PRAG, FIDIC 1999 Red Book and FIDIC 1999 Yellow Book conditions of contract.

The works contracts to be supervised will be divided into two (2) lots which are as follows:

Lot 1: Construction of the central waste management facility - Sorting plant, MBT Plant, landfill, composting plant, green point for East and Northeast region in Sveti Nikole;

Lot 2: Construction of six (6) Local Waste management Facilities - transfer stations, composting plants and green points for East and Northeast region.

The consultant shall ensure that services for supervision of the construction works shall be in accordance with all the requirements for quality control, control of design, control of quantities, supervision of the work progress, analyses of expenses as well as working on administrative questions during the construction and the defect liability period.

The works contracts to be supervised will include: Construction of a Central Waste Management Facility (CWMF) (consisting of one (1) sanitary landfill, one (1) sorting plant, one (1) Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) plant, one (1) composting plant and one (1) Green Point) in Sveti Nikole Municipality in the area of Meckuevci - Arbasanci under Lot 1, and Construction of six (6) Local Waste Management Facilities (LWMFs) (each consisting of one (1) Transfer Station, one (1) composting plant and one (1) Green Point) in the following Municipalities: Berovo, Makedonska Kamenica, Vinica, Stip, Rankovce and Kumanovo under Lot 2.
