Subject:-Quadrennial Term Contract for Maintenance of Oil-fired Boilers, Gas-fired Boilers, Dual Fuel Boilers and Solar Hot Water Installations at Transport, Security & Central Services Division Venues for the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
Description:-The scope of works includes inspection, operation, maintenance, testing, repair, alteration, addition and improvement of the oil-fired boilers, gas-fired boilers, dual fuel boilers and solar hot water installations at Transport, Security & Central Services Division venues for the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Works are scheduled to commence in April 2018 for completion in March 2022.
Contractors Invited to Tender:-Selective tendering is adopted. Contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of `Liquefied Petroleum Gas Installation` or `Mechanical Plant and Equipment Installation, Group II` or `Steam and Compressed Air Installation` or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of `Liquefied Petroleum Gas Installation` or `Mechanical Plant and Equipment Installation, Group II` or `Steam and Compressed Air Installation` who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.
Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of `Liquefied Petroleum Gas Installation` or `Mechanical Plant and Equipment Installation, Group II` or `Steam and Compressed Air Installation` may also submit a tender if they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 12 January 2018 to Mr. MOK Chun-wing, Transport, Security and Central Services Division, 6/F, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and the application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date.
