Subject:-36-month Term Contract for Repairs and Maintenance to the Oil-Fired, Gas-Fired and Dual Fuel Boilers, Solar Hot Water Installations, Steam Related Equipment and Accessories in Various Health Care Institutions and Municipal Buildings of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
Description:-The scope of works includes the repairs and maintenance to the oil-fired, gas-fired and dual fuel Boilers, solar hot water installations, steam related equipment and accessories in various health care institutions and municipal buildings. The contract period is 36 months and the tentative contract commencement is 1 November 2014.
Contractors Invited to Tender:-Contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of Steam and Compressed Air Installation (excluded those limited to the supply and installation of medical air systems only) or Liquefied Petroleum Gas Installation or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of Steam and Compressed Air Installation (excluded those limited to the supply and installation of medical air systems only) or Liquefied Petroleum Gas Installation who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.

Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of Steam and Compressed Air Installation (excluded those limited to the supply and installation of medical air systems only) or Liquefied Petroleum Gas Installation may also submit a tender if they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 18 July 2014 to Health Sector Division, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 6th Floor, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and the application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date.
