Tender Details

The project to be studied is part of the large Platy Dam and Irrigation Networks project in the Platy basin and aims to irrigate areas with a total net irrigated surface of 10, 500 acres.

From the above area, 6, 500 acres would be supplied by pumping the much required manoof metric height from the Wide Reservoir. With the present study, two reservoirs with a total capacity of 1, 000, 000 m3 will be studied in order to feed them, in one part with a significantly lower pressure head and in the remaining part with gravity, thus reducing to a veryto a large extent the operating costs for energy of the entire project.

The project also provides for the expansion of irrigation with an additional net irrigated area of 4, 000 acres, along the transmission pipeline to Messara, thus enabling the further development of existing crops, aland their expansion with high yield crops.
