Object of the contract :
the wood energy market for domestic heating has singular characteristics: - a strong self-consumption and a phenomenon of free recovery of wood, - an informal walk of proximity, unstructured and unofficial, -an official market currently reduced to the state of market and involving a small circle of professional actors. In addition to the results of the survey carried out by ceren in 2013, it is necessary to continue the workrealized within the framework of the ademe study "domestic heating to wood: supplies and markets" entrusted to arthur andersen and biomasse normandie in 2000 and to solagro, bva, arbn in 2012, in order to apprehend the modes of wood supply the objectives of this study are: - to characterize the supply modes of the domestic wood-heating market and the current dynamics, from official circuits to self-consumption mechanisms, - to definer the state of the domestic wood heating pac in france and the changes that have taken place (number of dwellings with wood appliances, consumption, renewal rates, user profiles, etc.); recommendations on the supply of professionals and on communication in favor of wood heating in order to develop a strategy for the promotion of wood energy for individuals. To do this, a survey will be carried out among households and professionals(25 cm, 33 cm, 50 cm and 1 m), pellets (bag and bulk), reconstructed logs and skeletons, and forest and bocage slabs (for private use ) .the units concerned are single-family dwellings and collective dwellings. The wooden appliances concerned are open fireplaces, independent appliances (stoves, inserts, solid stoves, cookers) and boilers of less than 70 kw).main features :
