This is a Sources Sought announcement to determine the interest, availability, and capability of potential contractors for calibration, maintenance, inspection, and repair for industrial hygiene noise monitoring equipment. It is for informational purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District desires to identify contractors capable of providing calibration, maintenance, inspection, and repair of noise equipment. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541380 (size standard $19, 000, 000). The current intent is to initially solicit one Request for Quotations later this fiscal year.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Perform calibration, maintenance, inspection, repair, from an A2LA accredited laboratory for industrial hygiene noise monitoring equipment used to support occupational safety and health compliance, employee exposure monitoring, hearing conservation, and workplace hazard assessments. The equipment must remain in full operational condition and maintain manufacturer specifications to ensure accurate, defensible, and legally supportable occupational exposure monitoring results. All services must comply with applicable Department of Defense, Army, USACE, OSHA, ANSI, A2LA and manufacturer requirements.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, replacement parts, shipping, technical expertise, accredited calibration services, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair necessary for eight (8) total Government-owned industrial hygiene equipment/units.
Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
