Sealine Sjøverstø-Staubø
Background and purpose In order to secure the water supply, and to increase the fire water capacity in Kilsund, Arendal municipality is to lay new pipelines from Sjøverstø to Staubø. There should be approx. 3.5 km of sea lines, and there will be 5 land roofs. Scope of the contract work Delivery and welding of PE pipes Delivery and installation of load weights Digging and blasting of trenches Pipe laying in water approx. 3, 500 meters 5 land roofs Drilling in the mountains out into the sea 2 site-built water basins Due to guidelines in the permit for the facility from the State Administrator, the work can only be carried out in the period from 16 September to 14 May inclusive. The deadline for completion of work at sea is therefore set for 14 May. 2027. Expected takeover is 31 August 2027 The Supply Regulations §7-9 (1) will apply. Through planning, appropriate choices have been made in relation to the climate and environment, including through the choice of short-lived materials. In addition, the project is subject to guidelines from the State Administrator that take climate and the environment into account. Budget Estimated value is an estimate.
