The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for the Simultaneous Language Interpretation, Interpreting Equipment and Translation Services for meetings convened by the Regional Office for Eastern Africa (ROEA) of the UNODC. It is anticipated that the contract will be for three years with an initial period of one year and optional two year extensions of one-year each (1+1+1).UNODC through its programme holds meetings within the East African region covering 13 countries: Kenya, Uganda, Seychelles, Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Somalia, Madagascar, Comoros, Mauritius, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi requiring multiple languages including English, French, Portuguese, Swahili, Arabic, Amharic and Somali.The project-s primary objectives of this requirement is the provision of interpretation services during meetings that are held at various locations within the regions where UNDOC ROEA operates from.
