Tenders are invited for Sewer Networks South West Part of Tarim.
Payment of nonrefundable cost of US$ 200.
Bank guarantee according to the form attached in tender documents amounting (US$ 170, 000) for each of contracts 1, 2 & 3 and (US$ 120, 000).
Local Water Supply and Sanitation Corporation -Hadramout Governorate-Wadi and Desert Regions representing the Government of the Republic of Yemen announces number of bids for sanitation projects in Tarim.
The projects are funded through credit No. (482/2005) to the Government of Yemen by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development towards the cost of the supply and construction works, with a percentage of (100%) from AFESD not including any local taxes.
This announcement includes the following tenders:
1. Tender No. (3/2019) - Contract (3A) - Main Collector + Pumping station + Force Main.
2. Tender No. (4/2019) - Contract (3B) - Sewer Networks North East Part of Tarim.
3. Tender No. (5/2019) - Contract (3C) - Sewer Networks South West Part of Tarim.
To qualify for any of these tenders, contracting firms should have a minimum annual construction contracts over the last ten years amounting US$ 5 million; and successfully completed two projects with similar works to those tendered each of a value not less than US$ 5 million, in addition to the availability of construction equipment, qualified staff and financial capabilities as specified in the tender documents.
4. Tender No. (6/2019) - Contract (4) - Tarim waste Water treatment plant (oxidation pond).
To qualify for this tender, contracting firms should have a minimum annual construction contracts over the last ten years amounting US$ 4 million; and successfully completed two projects with similar works to those tendered each of a value not less than US$ 4 million, in addition to the availability of construction equipment, qualified staff and financial capabilities as specified in the tender documents.
Interested local and international contracting firms, with relevant experience and capabilities qualifying for such works, can buy the tender documents for one or more bids against payment of nonrefundable cost of US$ 200. The LWSC has the right not to award more than one contract to any winning bidder. The Bidder-s capabilities and experience will be evaluated in a post-qualification process based on the requirements set in the tender documents.
The deadline for selling the tender documents is 13/6/2019 at 02:00 pm. Interested contracting firms can review the tender documents before purchasing at the LWSC office during the official work hourswithin the documents selling period.
The bids shall be submitted (original + 3 copies) in an envelope sealed with red wax. The name of the employer, tender name, tender number and the name of the bidder should be written on the envelop which shall include the following documents:
a. Bank guarantee according to the form attached in tender documents amounting (US$ 170, 000) for each of contracts 1, 2 & 3 and (US$ 120, 000) for contract 4, valid for (120) days from the date of opening the envelopes; or providing a certified bank cheque with the same amount.
b. Valid colored original copy of the registration and classification certificate.
c. Valid colored original copy of the sales tax certificate and tax card.
d. Valid colored original copy of the insurance and zakat cards.
e. Valid colored original copy of the certificate of profession practicing certificate.
Foreign companies should provide legal documents of eligibility issued by the country of origin.
The deadline of receipt of bids and opening of envelopes is 11:00 am on Wednesday dated 19/6/2019.Bids received after the submission deadline will not be accepted and will be returned unopened to the submitting firm.
The bids opening will be held at the office of the General Manager of LWSC, as addressed below. The bidders- representatives are entitled to attend the bids opening session upon submitting a formal authorization issued by the bidding firm.
