Mod 2: Extending solicitation and clarifying specs. Alternative solutions such as aluminum frames are acceptable. For ground maintenance reasons, the government-s preference is to keep the structure entirely on hard surfaces. Minimum wind speed specifications for IL do not appear to apply to non-permanent structures nor to federal buildings. This will still be a technical consideration for rating.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2023-04. This combined synopsis/solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. North American Industrial Classification Standard 314910 applies to this solicitation; business size standard is 500 employees. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to award under a different NAICS if the company would qualify as a small business under the solicited NAICS.
The following is needed:
The 126th Air Refueling Wing has a requirement for a Sunshade Tent to be used to protect equipment that is exposed to the outside elements. Vendor must deliver and install Sunshade Tent to the 126th ARW.
Tent must meet the following specifications listed below or better:
- approximately 70- Wide X 220- Long X 23- Center Height X 9- Side wall
- 22OZ. Tan Cover, Flame Retardant PVC Vinyl Laminated fabric With Polyester Scrim (the Scott AFB area is known for windstorms and tornados. Must be a sturdy construction with proven wind resistance.)
