The purpose of the procurement is to procure scope equipment for the Urology Department's outpatient clinic c/o Helse Stavanger Hospital Trust The equipment will be used for cystoscopy, cancer follow-up, bladder diagnostics, removal of foreign bodies from the bladder, biopsies and bladder flushing. It will also be for mapping and follow-up after cancer treatment. Examination, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with urological disorders must be carried out. Flexible video cytoscopes will also be used for botox treatments. The equipment is currently used on approx. 2, 200 patients per year, with a potential for increased frequency.
