SRC requires the supply of one (1) Rotary Kiln for the production of rare earth fluorides at a pilot scale. The lessons learned from this pilot may be used in conjunction with the Rare Earth Elements Processing Facility (REPF) plant in Saskatoon.

Additional Information:

For SRC’s Rare Earth Thermal Processing (Inert / Vacuum), the intent of this RFQ is to solicit proposals for the design, supply, fabrication, testing, and delivery of a pilot-scale indirectly heated rotary kiln system suitable for thermal processing of rare earth materials under inert atmospheres. The equipment must be suitable for oxygen/moisture-sensitive materials and designed to minimize contamination. Materials are NOT combustible or flammable upon contact with oxygen or moisture.
