Tenders are invited for Road Rehabilitation and Improving Connectivity of Road Infrastructure

Lot 7:Belle Road (Lears Roundabout to ABC Highway)

Lot 8: Lears Road (Canewood to Lower Estate Roundabout)

Lot 9: Ermie Bourne Highway Phase 2 (Barclays Park to Belleplaine)
the work includes but is not limited to:

• excavating 600 mm deep in rolled marl filling and reinstating damaged pavements;

• milling 50 mm of the base course, replacement of wearing course with

asphalt macadam manufactured with granite aggregate;

• milling shoulders and applying layer of asphalt manufactured with local limestone aggregate;

• general drainage improvements and regrading earthen drains; and

• general replacement of damaged Armco barriers.

The delivery/construction period is

a. Lot 7: 180 calendar days

b. Lot 8: 180 calendar days

c. Lot 9: 180 calendar day
A complete set of the bidding document in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the

submission of a written Application to the postal or electronic mail address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee Barbados One hundred dollars and no cents (BD$100.00) or in United States Dollars, Fifty dollars

and no cents (US$50.00). The method of payment will be via payment to the Treasury Department via United

States Dollar or Barbados Dollar wire transfer. (For wire transfer details please use the addresses mentioned at

paragraph 5 above). The bidding document will be sent by airmail or electronic mail for overseas delivery and

surface mail or electronic mail for local delivery or may be collected from the address below.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 12 January 2022.

Electronic bidding shall be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened electronically in the presence of

the bidders- representatives who attend on-line at the address below at 13 January 2022 at 9:30 a.m. An

invitation will be issued to all bidders to attend via Skype.

9. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security, of BD$30, 000.00 per Lot or an equivalent amount in a

freely convertible currency
