Scope of Work : Purpose of the RFIThe Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP), through the Laboratory Services Branch (LaSB), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather market intelligence regarding the availability, capability, and serviceability of fully automated Enzyme‑Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) analyzer systems.The purpose of this RFI is to:Assess the ability of the Canadian marketplace, and the broader global market, to supply a fully automated ELISA analyzer that meets LaSB-s operational, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.Identify Canadian‑based and non‑U.S. manufacturers, vendors, distributors, or system integrators capable of supplying, supporting, and servicing such instrumentation.Understand current and emerging ELISA technology platforms and potential alternatives that reduce or eliminate reliance on U.S.‑manufactured instruments and U.S.‑based service models.Inform internal planning, business case development, and future procurement strategy.This RFI is for information‑gathering purposes only and does not constitute a commitment by the Ministry to procure goods or services.
