RE-ADVERTISEMENT The National Resilience Strategy (NRS) is in the final stages of revisions and approval, following participatory consultations with Government Ministries, Development Partners, and Civil Society. The NRS is a national strategy that, over the next thirteen years (2018-2030), will guide the design and implementation of national resilience programmes aimed at breaking the cycle of food insecurity and chronic vulnerability to climate change and disasters. It will be led by the Office of the Vice-President, and chaired by a government troika including the Department of Disaster Management Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Water Development, and the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planningand Development. The NRS-IP covers the first 5-year phase (2018-2023), and guide key management, operational, technical coordination, and budgetary functions supporting the implementation and monitoring and evaluation of the NRS pillar priorities, and collective results under the Common Program Framework (CPF). The NRS-IP will guide the following overall key functions, to be confirmed during the process:Systems and processes supporting all levels of the NRS implementation arrangementsParameters and processes for geographic and technical sector targeting and prioritizationEstablishment of systems guiding resource allocation processes and prioritization of resilience programs supporting NRS pillarsDetailed technical sector...
