UN Women Nepal Country Office (NCO) is seeking the service of a research agency to conduct a research study to examine social norms and structural factors impeding or facilitating women’s access to salary and wage employment on equal terms with men. The findings of the research study will be utilized by UN Women to facilitate policy dialogue among government and non-government stakeholders for integration of gender responsive provisions in national laws and policies related to employment and social security. The findings of the research study are also expected to contribute in the ongoing policy dialogue on women’s economic empowerment.
