Brief Description of Works:
The project involves repair/repainting of Floating Beacon Light No. 3 & No.7A it includes concrete sinker for mooring equipment and, Patrol Boat Lifter & Trailer/Carrier.

Only those contractors with PCAB Registration of at least -œMedium -˜A- for Ports, Harbor & Offshore Engineering- will be issued Bidding Documents, and upon payment of non-refundable cost of the documents in the amount of PHP 28, 000.00 inclusive of VAT. It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring Entity, provided that bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids. Interested contractors are required to present a certified copy of their PCAB registration when purchasing the Bidding Documents.
Bidders must submit their bids on the date, time and place specified in the Invitation To Bid. Late bids will not be accepted. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the forms and corresponding amount stated in the Bidding Documents. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
The Philippine Ports Authority - Port Management Office of Batangas reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders. The Philippine Ports Authority- Port Management Office of Batangas assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify the bidders of any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.
Prospective bidders should possess a valid PCAB license and registration particulars applicable to the type and cost of the contract to be bid, have key personnel and equipment available for the prosecution of the contract as listed above, and must have completed at least one (1) contract that is similar to the contract to be bid, and with the same major categories of work as the contract to
be bid, and whose value is at least 50% of the approved budget for the contract to be bid, updated to current prices using the NSO consumer price indices. Prospective bidders must likewise meet the
other eligibility, technical/project and financial requirements and other requirements stated in the Eligibility Statement Forms and the Bidding Documents.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criteria as specified in the IRR of RA 9184.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least 75% interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.
