Renovation of the municipal building in Sogndal
Background and purpose Sogndal municipality is to refurbish the Municipal House as the building needs upgraded ventilation systems and surface refurbishment. Some walls will be demolished to create a larger office. There will be some new walls, including on the 2nd floor where there will be a new meeting room. Otherwise, the room layout is kept approximately as it is today. A new residents' square will be established, with a reception desk and sliding glass doors in the vestibule. External doors and some internal doors must have access control and must be replaced or upgraded. The front door is an important part of the character of the building and must retain the expression it has today. Ceilings must be installed in all offices, meeting rooms and the municipal council hall. Status and objectives Measures must be designed and carried out as a simplified execution contract in accordance with NS 8406. Subcontracts The advertised project is divided into three different subcontracts: carpentry work, electrical work and painting/flooring.
