Due to the phasing out of the GPRS signal (no longer supported by KPN and Vodafone as of January 1, 2030), energy meters must be replaced on a large scale. Some of these meters are mounted on material suspected of asbestos, which must first be remediated. This is done in an occupied condition with minimal inconvenience and maintaining access to homes. This concerns approximately 30, 000 addresses in the Enschede and Haaksbergen region. The Mini Containment method is applied for the remediation, in accordance with legislation and regulations. We are looking for two inventory agencies and one asbestos removal company.
