The Greenbelt Authority (Authority) was established by the Greenbelt Authority Act No 23 of 2017 to champion large scale commercial irrigation whose main purpose is to accelerate social economic transformation through increased agricultural productivity, agroprocessing and easy access to markets. 2. The Authority has budgeted public funds in the 2023/24 Fiscal Year for Rehabilitation and Maintenance Works in Nkhatabay and Mangochi districts, and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for this tender. Bidders must be Civil Engineering Contractors registered with National Construction Industry Council of Malawi (NCIC) in the K500 million Category.
