SYNOPSIS: Renovations to Interior Spaces at Dan Beard Research Center in Everglades National ParkTHIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Contracting Operations East, South Contracting Office intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to renovate interior spaces at the Dan Beard Research Center in Everglades National Park. Detailed specifications and construction drawings will be provided with the solicitation documents.PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued on or about March 9, 2026 (the date is subject to change) and will be posted to the SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/homeThis procurement will be 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business standard is $45 million.ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: Between $100, 000.00 and $250, 000.00. TYPE OF PROCUREMENT: It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price construction contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical, past performance, and price proposal. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. A payment bond and performance bond and bid guarantee will be required.The contract is expected to be awarded by May 2026.
