Purchase of a pilot plant for Quaternary purification at BRA
The procurement concerns the supply of ozone pilot and filter columns to the Bekkelaget treatment plant as part of VAVs work with investigation, testing and development of solutions for advanced wastewater treatment. VAV needs to acquire both an ozone pilot and filter column, and wants to facilitate broad competition by opening partial offers for the individual parts of the pilots to be delivered. The suppliers can therefore make offers for one or both parts of the procurement. The pilots will enable the testing and comparison of different quaternary cleaning steps for the removal of micropollutants, with a particular focus on drug residues and other indicator substances covered by categories 1 and 2 in the revised EU waste directive. The pilots will consist of ozonation and post-polishing in parallel lines with granular activated carbon (GAK) and sand filter (SF). The contract(s) will be awarded the supplier(s) offering the best offer for the pilot in question. If one supplier is ranked best for both ozone pilot and filter columns, VAV can enter into one overall contract that includes both deliveries. If different suppliers are ranked best for the respective parts, it will be concluded separate contracts.
