We mention that this product is necessary in order to fulfill the general objective of the project.
The general objective of the project consists in the arrangement of mooring pontoons in the commune of Sfantu Gheorghe, a territory that is part of the Danube Delta FLAG area. This eligible activity contributesto encourage investments that will support ecotourism activities and implicitly increase environmental assets and mitigate climate change. We mention that ecotourism means the development of tourism in the sense of protecting the environment and mitigating climate change.
The project proposes to financethe purchase of pontoons, which will contribute to the achievement of the objective of Measure 2, namely the arrangement of pontoons, footbridges, tourist pavilions for observation (for example birdwatching) that fit into the local specifics, precisely due to the fact that the transport infrastructure specifies the areaei Flag Danube Delta is the naval transport with boats compatible with the navigation channels of the Danube.
The contracting authority will respond to all requests for clarifications on the 11th day before the deadline for submission of offers.
