Description: The genome diagnostics of the Genetics Department of the UMCG do many NGS investigations per year including prenatal research and oncological emergency studies with a very short result period. We must have demonstrably of each NGS study (this is mandatory due to quality standards/national genetic guidelines) that it is the right sample. We use a concordance check for this. This is done with the help of a SNP Array and NGS data. At least 60 measuring points (SNPS) are compared with each other, these must be 95% concordant with each other. The Quantstudio 12K OpenARRAY System from Thermofisher offers us the possibility to get the required result periods. We are needed to guarantee the future -proofness of the necessary care.
