Tenders are invited for Provision of Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Provider Services
SCI is calling for suitably qualified and interested parties to bid as part of a negotiated Open

tender process for the provision of Global third-party logistics services (3PL) to cover largely Air

and ocean freight forwarding & clearance, inbound transportation, and from time to time as

required Air Charter and Warehousing services, across our operating areas throughout the

contract duration.
SCI invites qualified and interested parties to participate in a negotiated open tender process for the provision of comprehensive Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Provider services on a global and/or regional scale. The scope of services required includes:

• Freight planning and consolidation

• Export and import clearance

• Origin and destination in-country transportation

• Port to Port Freight forwarding by any mode (including multimodal)

• Provision of air charter and warehousing services (if required).
In summary SCI shipped over 2022-2023:

• Approx. 250 movements (70% Air, 25% Sea, 5% by Road) with an estimated expenditure of $6.5 Million over two years
The main commodities shipped include:

• Medical: Temperature-Controlled Pharmaceutical products, medical consumables, and equipment

• Nutrition: Nutritional supplements/supplies

• Fleet: Vehicles and/or Bicycles

• Technology: Laptops and accessories, and communication equipment

• Humanitarian: Non-Foods Items (NFI) and other emergency supplies

1. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

It is the intent of SCI through this tender to secure capable and sustainable proposals that are in line with our mission and business requirements, and to select a panel of 3PL Providers that can provide various logistics services globally, and/or regionally, and/or between commercial hubs and SCI warehouses.
The high-level scope of services provided by the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) entails:

• Freight planning and consolidation

• Export and import clearance

• Origin and destination in-country transportation

• Port to Port Freight Forwarding by any mode (including multimodal)

• Provision of air charter and warehousing services (if required).
In summary SCI shipped over 2022-2023:
