DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTSThe United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), is seeking for exprersssions of Interest (EOIs) from qualified companies who can provide the preventive service and maintenance/repair of the equipment for UNECA, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.The task includesinstallation of new equipment, timely inspection, service, and repair/ maintenance of all devices under the custody of Security and Safety Services (SSS). It also includes planning and advising SSS on the purchase of spare parts for the devices.The Contractor shall be a fully accredited supplier oragent of the manufacturer of the searching and inspection devices and be familiar with the provision of repair and maintenance service of the equipment that ECA has. The Contractor should also provide evidence to substantiate it. The contractor shall be able to handle its own stock and can supplyimmediately genuine spare parts. The successful bidder(s) will be contracted toprovide the Services as specified under the Terms of Reference to be provided along with the bid document. Companies expressing interest should note that this Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) serves aspre-qualificationof the companies that will be invited to participate in the tender process .Intrested firms willbe invited to the tender by "Request for Proposal -RFP" at later stage and the detail requirement will befurther specfied in the RFP document.UNECA reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements...
