Tender Details

The United Nations is seeking information regarding subscription-based maritime data services with access to maritime database systems that provide real-time and reliable maritime information to identify illicit shipments of commodities subject to UN Security Council sanctions. This system needs toprovide various functionalities, such as:A maritime database containing data on ships, like:- ownershipand carry capacity;- shipbuilder information;- shipyards; and- navigational channels and port area depth.The real-time data on ship movements needs to have functionalities such as:- ability to continuously track ships;- ability to continuously monitor transshipment hubs;- identify the movements of ships with their automatic identification system switched off; - ability to detect evidence of vessel identity tampering and other anomalies of vessel movements; and- calculation of the time without AIS and estimates of possible destinations during dark voyages.Further requirements:- Providing information on non-compliant activity, like running dark, sanctions evasions and ship-to-ship transfers is also required.- The ability to manage watchlists and create individual ship and area alerts.- Data on maritime companies, like fleet owners, managers and operators, including contact details(historical and current data current data must reflect actual IMO registration).- Data on ports and facilities, including chemical/oil terminals.- Analytical support by database operator.Please see information on submission under the section "Specific Requirement".
