Tenders are invited for Provision of Manpower Services for WFP Fleet Operations.

The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia seeks interested and qualified national or international companies registered in Ethiopia for the provision of manpower services to support WFP fleet operations. The interested companies are also required to maintain a roster for truck, light vehicle drivers, Convoy leaders, Mechanics, and other support staff/s that may be immediately deployed based on operational needs.

1. Objective:

This invitation for expression of interest aims to identify qualified national/international companies to provide drivers and convoy leaders with support in running WFP Fleet operations. The shortlisted companies will be invited to participate in a competitive bidding process to provide the above-mentioned services. Based on the results of the bidding process, WFP may conclude a contract with one or more companies for the provision of the named services.

2. Summary of services to be provided:

Provide WFP Ethiopia with suitably qualified personnel for the assigned duty and manage all personnel/administrative matters related to the outsourced services independently.
The manpower deployed by the Contractor to perform the services shall always be considered employees of the company and they are solely responsible and obligated to respect all the applicable local laws and regulations governing the operation.
The operational management of the Fleet operations, including the responsibility of maintenance of assets, remains with WFP.

The EOI and any supplementary documentation must be submitted in a sealed envelope and deposited at the designated box for WFP Ethiopia in Addis Ababa at the address below, no later than 07 February 2024, 14:00 hours (local time).
All EOIs should be duly signed and stamped.
